Welcome to The Child's Primary School and thank you for your interest in applying to our school!  We invite you to make an appointment to visit our campus for a personal parent tour if you have not already done so. If you have already taken your tour or are ready to apply now and tour later, see below for "How to Apply".

If you would like more information and personal contact with our Admissions office, click here to Request More Information / Schedule a Tour and our Admissions Office will contact you to answer your questions and/or schedule your tour.  We would very much like to meet you and encourage you to take a parent tour at your earliest convenience.  Our priority application deadline is February 1, 2023.  If you already know that TCPS is your first choice school and you are ready to commit once accepted we offer an Early Admission process with an admissions decision in December.  If you are interested in an early decision you would be able to finish the process at TCPS before applications are due at other schools. 

How to Apply

Our Online Application simplifies submission and provides parents the ability to track the status of your child's application. To begin the Online Application, first Create an Account. You will then receive an email containing a verification link. Once your email address has been verified, log in to your account and Create A New Student Application for your child selecting the appropriate application school year and grade level.  To submit applications for more than one child you will create new student applications under the same account and your general parental information will be pre-filled.  You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application(s) until they are submitted.

A non-refundable fee of $125 must be submitted with each application. If you have not paid the $125 fee, your application has not yet been submitted to the school. You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been submitted to us.

After submitting the application, you will be able to track your application status by logging in to your account. In addition, you will be able to print the completed application, monitor when the school receives teacher recommendations and any applicable supplemental forms and, if necessary, reprint the forms.  

We offer an Early Decision process for families who know they would like to commit to TCPS early if they receive an offer of admission. Please let us know and submit your application by November 30th to be part of the early pool. To apply on the regular timeline, please submit your application by our priority application deadline of February 1, 2024 for a March decision date. After the priority application deadline has passed our application cycle will move into our rolling admissions phase as we continue to fill any remaining open spots.  We appreciate your interest and are here to assist you in any way we can.
